Revival Marching Band are a traditional marching band, playing Eb cavalry trumpets, drums and bell lyre glockenspiels.

We were formed in 2003, when a group of banding friends reunited after over 20 years apart, to perform a one off parade for the Wymeswold Scout Group in Leicestershire on Remembrance Sunday.

Good fun was had by all, having rekindled those banding enthusiasms, it was decided we should keep going.

Since then we have assembled once every two weeks to rehearse and now many us have introduced our own children to the band.

Over the past few years we have performed in a number of parades and galas, for the Scouts on St. George's day in Loughborough, West Bridgford, the Boys Brigade in Nottingham and local carnivals in East Leake, Clifton and Gotham.

There is no restrictions to our membership, we are open to young and old alike and would welcome new members at any time you don't need to have any experience.

We play music which was popular with Scout and youth bands in the 70's and 80's, emulating the traditional styles of iconic bands such as the 13th Coventry Scouts and the 31st Warrington Scout Band
